领科北京国际舞台展风采 - 2018哈佛模拟联合国会议

　　全球规模最大的会议当属联合国大会了，各国议员围坐一起商讨事务，国际上许多重要决定都在这里产生。

　　领科北京的同学们作为高中生也是踌躇满志，虽然无法在真正的联合国大会上高谈阔论，但心中渴望“指点江山”的火苗从未熄灭。

　　一、模拟联合国会议

　　哈佛大学模拟联合国会议给同学们提供了一个独特的舞台，让他们有机会体验充满挑战的外交事务处理和国际谈判。

　　二、机会与挑战

　　Harvard Model United Nations Beijing is a fantastic opportunity for students from all over China and around the world to come together to discuss and debate issues facing our world today. The students take part in a 4-day simulation Model United Nations conference run by Harvard students. This conference not only challenges students but also enhances their public speaking, teamwork and leadership skills. This year our group of 21 diligent students showed their competitive edge while debating with students from all over the world and made us extremely proud. They worked hard and developed skills that will be extremely important for the global citizens they will become.

　　哈佛模拟联合国北京活动提供了一个绝好的机会，使得来自中国和世界各地的学生聚在一起，交流和讨论我们当今世界面临的一些话题。学生们参加了由哈佛学生组织的为期四天的模拟联合国大会。这次会议不仅带给学生一些挑战的机会，同时也大大提高了他们的演讲能力、团队精神和领导能力。今年，我们领科北京有21名勤奋的学生在与来自世界各地的学生辩论时，充分展现了他们的竞争优势，作为老师我们感到无比自豪。他们十分努力，提高了自己日后成为世界公民所要具备的重要技能。

　　三、换个角度看世界

　　Having the role of a reporter in a press conference in particular was really intensive, this is where we delegates from press corps had the opportunity to raise questions and concerns regarding the resolution papers drafted. All of us took the privilege as a journalist and asked questions as far as I can remember, that really push other delegates limits and help with the flow of the whole committee.

　　在新闻发布会上担任记者是十分紧张的，这使得我们代表记者团的代表们有机会对决议草案提出问题和疑虑。作为记者，我们所有人都提出了一些问题，这确实解除了其他代表的一些限制，并帮助了整个委员会的交流。

　　One of the many benefits of going to hmun is that it pushes you to exercise your public speaking skills. Public speaking is necessary for going abroad, as you would need to be confident enough to speak to people in any case, and hmun is a good place to start developing public speaking abilities. It is not uncommon to be unwilling to go up and deliver a speech or personal opinions in front of people, but hmun pushes you to do so. The point of this is that by the end of hmun the comfort level of speaking at a public occasion would increase.

　　去参加模拟联合国的收获之一就是它可以促使你锻炼自己的演讲技巧。公开演讲是出国的必要技能之一，因为你需要有足够的自信去和别人交流，模联活动是开始提高公共演讲能力的好机会。不愿意在别人面前发表演讲或发表个人意见并不罕见，但模联会推动你这样做。关键一点是，在模联活动结束时，你会发现在公共场合演讲并没有那么不适。

　　我们每一个人都是平凡的高中生，普普通通地学习与生活着，这次活动则像是一个契机，一个让我们感受到些许时代命脉的契机，它虚构了一个特殊的背景，让我们脱离日常，去扮演一个假身份，只有在这时候，我们方才有了余力去忽视掉周遭的一切，努力看看这个世界，看看那些或沉重或轻浮，或辉煌或颓废的岁月，国家，与人。
