上海协和双语高级中学2019 Me2We CAS之旅

  21 students in Grade 11 and Pre-IB recently went on the ‘Me to We’ CAS trip. During this trip, we had destination-specific tasks which focused on the three pillars of CAS - Creativity, Activity and Service (Part of the requirements of the IB Diploma Programme).

  近期,上海协和双语高级中学部分11年级与Pre-IB学生前往桂林阳朔、湖南江永参加 Me2We CAS之旅。在这期间,我们每天都会根据CAS三大核心词汇:C=Creativity 创造、A=Activity行动,S=Service服务 展开别有生趣的活动。

  We experienced true darkness in the cave spelunking in Yangshuo and participated in a rock-climbing activity where we challenged ourselves, and also encouraged each other to reach the summit. In addition, cycling, mountain-hiking as well as archery were some other activities we took part in. Through these tasks, we not only had the great opportunity to enjoy the scenery in Guilin, but also learned team spirit, the importance of cooperation and trust.

  我们在阳朔的洞穴探险中切身体验到了置身于黑暗中的奇妙感受;在户外攀岩时不仅挑战了自我,我们还互相加油打气,攀上了顶峰。此外,还有山地骑车、登山和射箭活动。通过这些项目,让我们在感受桂林独特风景的同时,也学习到了团队精神、相互信任和团队合作的重要性。

  After 3 days of activities and team-building, we went to Jiangyong, Hunan. In Jiangyong, we visited the local farm where we planted vegetables, fertilized and weeded the soil. Then, we also did social research activities at the local market, learned mystic Nvshu culture and on the last night, before leaving, there was a talent show where we performed stick fighting and the drum dance. Among these, volunteering in the local village gave me great memories. We taught the students in the local primary school over two days. Before the teaching day, we formed in groups and made lesson plans for the lessons. This was a great opportunity for us to develop leadership and management skills as well as becoming a closer group overall. Moreover, it was an unforgettable experience to teach the adorable children since it was the very first time to be a teacher for most of us.

  三天之后,我们动身前往湖南江永。在当地的农场上,我们帮助农户种植蔬菜、除草;与当地居民一起参加了一次赶集;在离开前还参观了女书博物馆,学习古老又神秘的女书文字;晚上举办篝火晚会,我们在舞台上进行了才艺表演。在所有活动中,给我留下印象最深的就是在当地的小学里当起了“小老师”。这一次难忘的支教经历中很好地锻炼了我们的组织能力和领导力。

  In all, the eight-day trip enabled us to cherish more than just memories.

  这一次八天的旅程带给我们的远远不止美好的回忆,更是让我们开拓了眼界并且提升了个人能力。

上海协和双语高级中学会对新生进行入学测试吗?

一旦您向学校递交了完整的入学申请表,招生老师将会通知学生和家长来校进行笔试和面试,包括英语和数学测试。

上海协和双语高级中学入学测试会考英语水平吗?

为了检验学生的英语能力是否适应他们将要入学的年级,入学考试英语部分包括了笔试和口试。如果结果显示学生的英语能力明显低于入学要求,我们会建议家长送孩子去英语培训机构学习,等孩子的英语水平提高后再次参加入学考试,如果通过就可以和同年级的学生一起上课。

上海协和双语高级中学入学学生能够进行单独的音乐辅导吗?

根据学生自己的意愿,与音乐辅导老师预约时间上课。GCSE或IB的学生选修音乐课的,需要熟练掌握一门乐器以及在现有的音乐课时的基础上增加额外专业训练,可选择进行单独的音乐辅导。
